When looking for a place to purchase the newest member of your family, look for a breeder
who does not keep too many cats, who live in their house as part of their family,
who raise only a few litters per year and, most importantly, who keeps their home
immaculate with cats well fed, uncrowded and happy.
If kittens are given plenty of room to roam and explore and are well socialized with humans,
they will be outgoing and sweet and have the lowest possible risk of disease and health problems.
Not all breeders are alike so make sure your kitten is coming from a reputable breeder.

Beautiful Sakura Cherry Blossoms
Did You Know that the cherry blossom (sakura) is the national flower of Japan.
Japan gave 3,000 sakura trees as a gift to the United States in 1912 to celebrate
the nations' then-growing friendship. These trees have since lined the shore of the Tidal Basin
in Washington, D.C.; and the gift was renewed with another 3,800 trees in 1965.
The sakura trees continue to be a popular tourist attraction (and the subject of the annual National
Cherry Blossom Festival) when they reach full bloom in early spring.
Washington, D.C. is a wonderful place to visit!
